Liz took the captaincy in 2006 after her first full season with the club, and led the team to promotion from Division 3.

She has a very level head and excellent pace. Her determination and forcefulness add a real vigour to the defence and her leadership qualities are easy to see (and hear!).

Although she passed on the captain's armband at the end of 2007, Liz remains a leader on the pitch. She lifts the team when they are down, keeps them focussed throughout the match, and controls the play from the back.

She is vital to Hampstead’s future success.
