Ellie is a natural, old style box to box player who runs for the whole game. Her bravery, strength, and a very high level of fitness and athleticism, allow her to dominate the centre of the park.

Ellie is a vital ingredient in the First XI. Not only because few teams make it past her aggressive bulldogesque tackling in the heart of midfield, but also because she oozes positivity. She never gives up, and never allows anyone around her either! She was rightfully made Vice Captain towards the end of 2007, and even more deservedly made Captain at the start of the 08-09 season.
